Top 10 X-Men Video Games

Two rules were followed in compiling this list.
1. No games were included such as those that just "feature" X-Men characters such as Marvel Ultimate Alliance or Marvel vs Capcom.
2. Games that featured Wolverine as the sole playable character such as X-Men Origins: Wolverine were not included in this list.

On a side note: If a game featured other characters outside of the X-Men but included "X-Men" in the title, it was considered.

Xmen Legends & Xmen Legends 2 owns my Hearts forever. Honestly....for me it was and still is easy to ignore its shortcomings

X-Men vs Street Fighter was and continues to be my favorite X-Men game. My jaw dropped when I saw the arcade cabinet for the first time at my local movie theater and it still blows my mind whenever I see one today that such a thing exists.

Mutant Apocalypse almost always gets overlooked and I have no idea why. Glad it is highly rated on your list.

Couldn't agree more. Clone Wars was just like the tv show from top to bottom. The game is almost 28 years old and is still amazing as it was back in 95

My favorite X-Men game to date is "X-Men: Next Dimension" from 2002, although I almost never hear or see anyone else mention it. A 3D fighting game with 24 playable characters, a ton of alternate costumes for each and multiple super moves/finishers. I have it for the PS2, but I hear that it was also released on the 360 and Gamecube.

Completely agree that X-Men 2 Clone Wars is the best X-Men game ever. My favorite X-Men game of all time

I loved X-Men Legends. That was the last ps2 game that I put a lot of time into. I never noticed any glitches and I put in probably 40 hours on that game. That was also the first game I remember playing, where you could control a whole team of characters.

Great call on that X-Men 2: Clone Wars. That game is absolutely amazing! It is also my favorite X-Men game of all time.

X-Man Clone Wars was always my favorite growing up. Brother and I played that game constantly. Excellent choice for number 1.
