HoverCar™ - Kickstarter Campaign

HoverCar™ is the most daring attempt at a flying car that has ever been undertaken. Inventor Brent J. Saxsma is taking to Kickstarter for the $1.21 million necessary to get this Supercar project off the ground - literally. When successfully funded, construction will begin on the first prototype of this 1,000 horsepower Vertical Takeoff & Landing (VTOL) capable vehicle, utilizing Inventor Brent's multiple Patented technologies. How do u think u r gonna be able to get the wheels to tip down? Cuz even if there is a mechanism for tipping the wheels, u have to get the car off the ground at least a couple of cm for there to be enough room for the wheels to fold down

Hello, Inventor Brent here. Unfortunately the team did encounter a legal scenario that forced us to pull down the Kickstarter campaign. However, the legal issue arose as my own personal legal issue concerning my patents, and as far as I know there are no legal ramifications due to using the DeLorean Time Machine body shell. Therefore, I still plan to develop the first prototypes of the car in this manner. I will try to do my best to answer as many questions here as I can, or you can always tweet me. um if you go over thermal dynamics again and catalysts  again it will work however your wheel may become a little more detailed to point you in the right direction Carnot's Theory and refrigeration are the stepping stones to create tremendous lift energy secondly capacitance of your alkaline fuel  final knowledge of microcontrollers to maintain fuel pressure at a certain bar I recommend the diesel rail system (mostly mechanical) to start...and a digital gyroscope however if you hover through an electro magnetic field your vehicle may fail so a data logger in needed to recall operations...cheers

I know V8's have a cult following, but you'd be much better off to ditch the V8 in favor of a turbine. A PT6A-50 would give you the same horsepower with probably 200 pounds of weight savings, at expense of fuel consumption. Also, CAD simulations fail to convince me. If I were someone with money to invest, I'd need working scale models like the great engineers of old once built, to demonstrate that the physics is viable. There's no schematics for anything besides the ducted fans - you'd be surprised how far some pen and paper sketches would go, or hell, just show us the chalkboard.

hey. i know your going for the whole back to the future look but given legal issues now days why chance it. theres a better style care out there then a delorian. and alot lighter in weight. i know because i have one. look at a cimbra. its a kit car but the way they were made puts corvette to shame.

hahaha this will never work !! the bigger the engine the more lb's you're going to put on the car and them small wheels are no where near big or wide enough to sustain a hover lol you will need small super turbines on every wheel to even get close to lifting that car lol and thet means more lb's lol and you want some big ass v8 !!?? man you don't even know what you're doing man .. you need the smallest engine for that car to keep the lbs down like a 2 cylinder or something maybe even an electric hybrid you have to cut weight on as much as possible for this to be considered to be a thing lol
