Nice information but You can easily record the live stream or inbuilt laptop miracast video by simply press ""windows key + G" in windows 10. thanks

I love chromecast mirror quality ever since I managed to upgrade my home wifi. For years it had dropouts in a matter of seconds/minutes when previously mirroring.

I still try to keep discrete looking hdmi chords around in each room for wired phone mirroring for even better mirror quality, latency, as a backup method, & mabye for dex once my Galaxy S10 arrives.

I never thought my chromecast ultra would work this well without investing into using the ethernet port in the stock wall adapter.
