How to use SCRCPY 2.0 | Control & Mirroring Android to PC

In this step-by-step tutorial, learn how to display and control your Android phone from a Windows, Mac, or Linux PC. My wife's S10+ went black on the bottom 80% of the screen recently and we got her a new phone but attempting to use Smart Switch to transfer everything without seeing the screen was not a good idea. Not working for me...I followed your steps, enabled USB debugging (and dev options) and connected my cellphone to my PC and enabled it to work on it and clicked on the scrcpy-noconsole file (which for some reason also did not do anything and did not create any extra file like it did for you) and I then tried launching it and it does nothing, then I clicked on the scrcpy.exe file and it says : "could not find any adb device" and "server connection failed", why is that?

First it seemed to work fine, unfortunately, with most Apps I open, the mirrored Screen is just a blackscreen as soon as I open an App. Any idea how to fix that?

THANK YOU! Finally a good and quick screen mirroring app, no installation, straight to the point. Better yet that it doesn't require tons of permissions having to be granted on the phone or having to sync accounts. Also very minimal lag since it's not network streaming.
