Nicely done, I always enjoy learning more through clear and concise presentations.

At 0:26, that is not the mouth of the river. The video does not even have it passing through New Orleans. Looks like y'all have it going along the path of Bayou Lafourche.

No one is talking about my boy the Missouri River. It’s freaking 2, 000 miles long, and has most of the veins and arteries that lead to the Mississippi.
But that also just makes the Mississippi cooler.

00:46 is this a typo or severely underwhelming?

Left out the new river also. Starts in North Carolina flows north through Virginia then west.

Fantastic music. It has that great 60s/Jetsons feel.

This is a great presentation except the animation shows the river flowing into the Gulf of Mexico at Morgan City, LA, which is actually where the Atchafalaya river flows. The Mississippi River passes through New Orleans and empties into the Gulf at the tip of southeast LA.

Concise, informative and musically reminiscent of the 'Famiy Guy' theme.

In the park there is a stone marker. If a drop of rain hits the north it heads to the North west passage. East to the Mississippi drainage. West to the Snake, Columbia drainage.

People don’t understand, shipping by water is cheap. The Mississippi isn’t just rivers, it’s the backbone of this nations wealth. Everything the Midwest produces for export floats down to the Port of New Orleans for loading onto seagoing ships. No rivers, no trade, rail is too expensive.

Can you do this with other watersheds like the Delaware river and Chesapeake bay

Can someone help me understand, how do geographers determine the flow of a river? For instance, why do they decide that at the section where the Ohio river merged into the Mississippi River, that the rest of the river isn’t the Ohio river? As in, why doesn’t the Mississippi River merge into the Ohio river that empties into the Gulf of Mexico as opposed to the Ohio river merging into the Mississippi River? Is there a formula for this or is it arbitrary? Thanks!
