"When you look out into the skies above you at night and you imagine how vast it is, it is important to understand that this universe is full of life. It is not that life only exists in remote and rare outposts amidst a vast desert of emptiness. Though there are many, many worlds that are uninhabited and uninhabitable, life has anchored itself and established itself throughout the Greater Community.

Therefore, answer for yourself once and for all the question of whether you are alone in the universe. How impossible this is. How preposterous to even think that this could be the case. This kind of thinking is born of the fact that humanity has evolved in a state of relative isolation and has not had the advantage of direct contact with intelligent life from beyond the world, except recently."

*Life in the Universe, Chapter 1: Facing a Greater Community of Life | Received by Marshall Vian Summers in 2008*

At 0:24 a wolf howls onto the void, ears back, head up.
At 0:52 there's the alien from the cover of Brian Aldiss' "Space, Time & Nathaniel" just sitting amongst the stars & dust.
There's something about what the JWST has captured here that lets my brain's pattern recognition run wild!
Just so achingly beautiful!
Thank you.

The transition image from Hubble to JWST is incredible. We stand on the edge of a vast expansion of our knowledge of the Universe.

Man, that's so cool. Just looking at the formations, breath taking. Along with a sense of calm. Hell of a telescope...

It is just mind bending to think these are 8-9 light years across in size

There's so much stars that we can see now!

Remember that the light takes 6500 years to get to us.
The image that you see, pre dates the pyramids, it is completely different to what it is like now.
But image is still spectacular none the less.

How far away on average are all these dots of stars you see all around this image?

loved this video but noticed the zoom in at the beginning was transitioned at the end into a different picture.

I see so many different things in Pillars of Creation photos. There is a darker one that looks completely different with different light. Either way, I see numerous beings in them-light & dark. Got me wondering if we are extremely small looking at a mere glimpse of much larger lifeforms. If that is possible, hopefully they don't try to kill us like we do sometimes with viruses.
