Most of the islands we can find around the world have been very well-explored and documented for many years. While we have found many mysterious objects or ruins on some of these islands, their history is well-understood. However, some islands are not so easy to decipher.

Some of these islands have been documented on ancient maps for years, yet they suddenly disappear without a trace. In other cases, top-secret facilities have been built on remote islands that have since been abandoned or completely destroyed without explanation. We’ve yet to uncover the truth in many of these cases, but today we will be taking a look at some of the most mysterious islands in the world.
