The moon still goes in a circle, but Earth’s revolution around the sun makes it appear like the moon is moving in an oval shape or another weird shape.

And if it was one inch off nothing would be alive now say there's no God

All of these visuals are always GREATLY exaggerated. In the amount of time it takes the moon to orbit just once, the Earth will have traveled almost 2 million miles. In this video, the Earth travels like 6 or 7 Earth diameters for each lunar orbit. In reality, the Earth travels around 230 Earth diameters for each lunar orbit. Yes - technically the moon spirals around the sun due to its orbit around the Earth, but that spiral is more stretched than these videos ever show. In reality, if you didnt know any better and saw the path the moon takes around the sun including its orbit around Earth TO SCALE....it would look NOTHING like these videos. The moon is also WAY farther away from Earth. In this video, you vould basically fit one Earth between the Earth and moon. In reality, you could fit about 30 Earths between the Earth and moon.
