Ep. 181: Does Michigan Have A Death Wish? (w/ Dr. Irwin Redlener) | Rumble with Michael Moore

Michigan is in the middle of the worst-in-the-nation COVID-19 surge. Other Upper Midwest states are seeing an uptick in cases, as well. While it seems like there is a light at the end of the pandemic tunnel, we are at serious risk of causing more death and destruction and prolonging the lockdown due to a combination of stupidity, misinformation and poor leadership on many levels.

Michael seeks the counsel of Dr. Irwin Redlener on why this is happening and what we must do to crush this virus for good. Dr. Redlener co-founded the Children's Health Fund in 1987, and has been a scholar, an advocate, and a monumental figure in the fight for public health, children's health and disaster preparedness for several decades.

I was planning to reopen my small horse business this spring so I took some stallion bookings from all over the country and a few from Europe and the middle east but I've cancelled all of them again since my stallion does live cover only and mares arrive and leave with human handlers so it's not going to happen. I cancelled the bookings and recommend a breeding to his full brother who does AI breeding. So much for another year's profits. Even fully vaccinated people are traveling and possibly encountering variants a few of which the vaccines are less effective against. While we would be outside and at little risk I think about potential spread to others during travel. I will be accepting a few local mares but there are only two of them. It will at least partially offset my feed bill.

I couldn't make the trip for the theater opening but I'll for sure watch it online. I listen to and trust Dr. Redlener, I hear him weekly on Stephanie Millers show on free speech tv. Keep telling us the truth Doctor! Great show Michael!

If anyone has the platform to help us in Michigan, it's Michael Moore. You should tell our state government that your doing a film on MI and how it's fumble on covid. Make sure you tell them they said they would follow the science! I'm sure that would get their attention.
