Please turn on subtitles (the music gets a bit loud in some areas), and check out the description for a list of all resources mentioned in the video!
Ahh! I seriously agonized over whether or not to publish this video for months because I didn't know if it would be weird to suddenly have such a chatty video when all of my previous videos were no-talking. Nontheless, I hope you enjoyed the video! ૮ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ა

Don’t stress yourself too much with kanji! Even most native speakers don’t remember much kanji that they won’t need in their everyday life.

This is very inspiring. I’m somewhat a intermediate japanese learner ( been studying off and on for about 5 years 😅) . I’m more comfortable learning with mina no nihongo series because I love the challenge. Great video and give your best with your studies, I believe in you!

your tips are really helpful! i think we live in really good times to learn languages since we have an acess to various resources on the internet and are able to surround ourselves with lots of content in certain language we're learning:)
i also want to say that your handwriting (both in japanese and english) is really cute and neat, i love it!! would you mind telling me what pen did you use to make your notes? it seems really smooth

I learned Japanese a few years ago and I would like to start learning again. It was fun when I was learning it.

こんいちわ!

I want to say "thank you" for this video! I had some problems with Japanese (I have already learned Katakana and Hiragana, and I don't really know what to do next), and it's now really hard for me to keep going, but because of the videos like that I'm still quite motivated (though confused 😅).

Keep it up!

Hi, I would love to add something to the kanji study. Brute memorization will burn you out and you may forget them pretty soon, because of their sheer number. I would recommend Remember the Kanji (it also has awesome Anki deck: All in One Kanji Deck (Heisig's RTK Order, 6th edition)), Kanji Koohii and/or WaniKani. It is based on method, where you depict individual kanji into smaller parts (primitives) and make stories out of them. Even though it took me over one year to finish the book, I found it fun and rewarding. 😊
