How would you make it so all users Profile is pulled from AD so u have information for each user eg: departmnt, manager, job title etc

Is there a way to call a lead and click next for a new lead to open? Instead of having to go back to the main list and then open another? Is there a way to put an appointment on the calendar from the lead, instead of copying the address and then going to the calendar to add?
