This i think was one of the first times Vegeta had spoken with pride in his voice while talking about another individual and it was his greatest rivals Kakarot.

Goku’s smile makes me so happy. The artists did such a great job with showing small emotions. You can tell Vegeta is astonished, mad, but so happy to see his species thrive. And goku is just happy to have the only other person that is JUST LIKE HIM come back to life. He knew the outcome of this battle and was glad that everything worked out in the end. ♥️

I love that Vegeta puts his personal ego aside and is just proud to see another saiyan become SSJ. His saiyan pride tops his personal ego/jealousy. That's a chad.

This is probably the only time Vegeta completely dropped his pride. He had nothing on the line, just feeling the raw trill of being alive again and seeing a true super saiyan standing before him.

Notice when Vegeta said “we still have a chance”wanted to take down Freiza with Kakarot than the moment he saw Kakarot as a super saiyan, there was no anger, jealousy, hatred. He felt prideful that the legend was true. Frieza humiliated, belittled Vegeta before coming back to life.
