Planet Zoo has MUCH more creative potential and will likely be a lot more fun for those found of creative management sims. Zoo Tycoon 2013, though, might be the better game for kids who aren't ready to deal with the complexities of habitat design and meeting the animal's requirements for space, temperature, privacy, etc, in Planet Zoo.

I'm actually not a fan of planet zoo's building. It's great for people who WANT to build elaborate things.... but I'm not a builder. I play Planet zoo for the tycoon aspect and that's about it. While I had 100's of hours into Zoo Tycoon 2 I've barely over a 100 in planet Zoo. I completed the campaign and can't really be bothered with the rest. The fencing and pathing tools are pure idiocy. They are way too finicky and make no sense for such an extensive build emphasized game.

Zoo Tycoon 2013 just feels somewhat like a knock-off or a very poor sequel for Zoo Tycoon 2 (my childhood and I love it to bits) imo. ZT 2013 is not bad, I liked the interactivity but I wish there was more 'free' building and design.

You cannot look at Zoo Tycoon 3 and tell me the animals are better. LOOK AT THEM! They're not bad, but it is not remotely close.

I think the way planet zoo can make planet zoo the best it can be is taking small features from zoo tycoon, for example. Being able to play as a character and doing staff tasks, more human like guests (they all have like 5 different animations and one of the main divide in the community), better animal interactions (babies following their mother or mates staying together would be a good add). And one that isn’t really in either is staff and animal interactions. I think animal shows would be sick like a zookeeper walking around with a cheeta for example because they do that in real zoos.

Zoo tycoon esy play by kids. Planet zoo difficult for kids play. Both r good game. And in xbox zoo tycoon chip price. But planet zoo costly.
