At the rate they're increasing tow ratings, , , by the year 2025 they should be capable of pulling Puerto Rico right next to Florida so people can drive there.

Andre -*We Win the consumer* yes until we are towing 36000lbs down the road & a chick texting on her phone pulls out in front of us on a highway doing about 65 or even 35mpg in town. ☠☠☠ this should be TopKick /Kodiak (commercial medium duty) territory for anything above 30k on any brand. My 1cents added anyway (change shortage all i could add)

I'd still get the F-450, just for the wide track front end. Turning radius on it makes a huge difference.

If paying $100, 000 for a truck is "us winning" we are doomed.

This is getting ridiculous. Because it can, doesn’t mean they should. A friend of mine used to tow a 33000 pound trailer with a 1999 F350 with a 7.3, but was sketchy as hell. If the trailer brakes didn’t work, you’re dead. Ford could change there F350 to 36, 200 tomorrow if they want. Chevy probably put axels and brakes comparable to the 450’s. What Chevy needs to work on is the designers, those trucks are ugly.

And, because of you and your homeboy Mr. Truck real-world testing of heavy trucks, I bought a new Chevy 2500 HD gas, yes gas, because I want a diesel but not need it.

I would like to see a GM 3500 with a Banks Derringer tuner added to it on the Ike Gauntlet. It's 50 state emissions legal. That would interesting to see if it improved the time from base to the tunnel.

This to me is just more proof that GM is behind the game in heavy duty trucks. Why would I give up having a crew cab and four-wheel drive just to tow a thousand pounds more than my Ram 3500 can tow? also my question how safe that thing would be going downhill after watching the Ike gauntlet. GM's performance on that downhill braking was not acceptable in my eyes.

I’m quite impressed with Chevy’s persistence to continue building one of, if not, the ugliest trucks out there.

Mr. TFLAndre, I can't wait to see you guys make a video of this year and crew cab model Dually. I hope soon, I need to compare them number in the I-70 West Bound tow up the big mountain.

By 2030 a heavy duty will be able to tow 150, 000 lbs with a 23 speed transmission.

TFLAndre, I have searched the internet and No one has done a video on the Dually going Off Road. Are Dually for towing capacity only or are the Off Road Worthless?

at what point is towing that much weight enough? less then 10, 000LBs away from weights Semis pull everyday.

36k behind an 8500# truck is about the same as 15k behind a ~3, 600# Honda Ridgeline. Think about this.

Can you still have a regular license or do you have to have a CDL when getting into that weight class?
