I like this. The modular game boards seem to add lots of different layouts and re-playability. Love the theme and the quirky references to classic sci-fy characters. Reminds me of Smash up! and it's play on words. Yet I'm not sure I want another deck builder in my collection. Aeon's end is getting lot's more play of late

I think the Android runaway might be a reference to blade runner (Roy batty, being a runaway replicant) but I could be wrong

That is absolutely Roy Batty from Blade Runner. He's in the classic pose at the end of the film where he's holding the dove.

I'm thinking (but not sure without the rulebook) that the Furry Smuggler requires the Contraband market item to fire off his bonus spacebucks. That symbol doesn't look like the pirate faction symbol, but it does look like the crate of contraband token.
36:39 is when I noticed it, but he used it wrong in an earlier draw.

I hope they put in original clank these new implements: faction cards, keys to access to the dragon artifacts, dragons minions they hits everyone, and teleports to move into the maps. Maybe in a new expansion, instead looks fun to play these clank in space. But first i wanna buy sunken treasure :D. In Italy both sunken treasure and in space version arrives in 2018.

The app has been updated and now includes support for Clank In Space.
In fact, it's got a full on story campaign. Would love to see you play that.

36:17 Are you able to keep the WoundBeGone for later? As far as I understand, you are required to use every card in your hand, even if they do bad things to you, which is why you can't just say "i'm not going to play my stumble card, I'll just discard it instead"
I mean, if you can keep it for later, great, that means you can use it when you need, but maybe that card is a special case

At 4:03, dont you have to choose to use the boot OR the skill from that card? Can you use both? I guess I was playing wrong...

25:41 that ability does not activate off the faction ability it activates from having the smuggler crate item. You mentioned the item in the shop a couple minutes later and it is the same symbol. Was this your first time playing clank in space?

The original game looked a little light for my tastes. Is the game noticeably deeper or less luck driven than the first game? You've said previously you and Jan prefer The Quest for El Dorado over Clank! From your plays so far would you say that is the case for this version of Clank! too?

you draw the card during your turn - you heal and trash. There is no choice. All cards that you draw must be activated.
Only "you may..." instructions are optional

Are you skipping the first damage space for a reason? I thought you were supposed to use the space with the heart on it.
