This could very well be a case of Beauty and the Beast. What if the monster turns out to be the cute boy Wednesday is crushing on or her sweet roommate? Maybe even Pugsley!

Despite the excellent point about being yourself in this movie, they never quite explain what that is, nor point out that there can be things about you that should not be considered a part of you. They never point out that there can be bad differences and good differences, and that not all different is good. They don't explain by what code you should be walking when 'being yourself', because you obviously don't just get to do whatever you want. It's true, i don't let others define me, i let God define me, and if others speak for God and speak for goodness and the truth, whether they believe in God or not, then that's when i'll take their advice.
