Fascinating how different Wednesday's smile is between actresses. With Christina Ricci's Wednesday, it feels as if the mere motion and the positive emotion behind it is so foreign to Wednesday that doing so feels like an unnatural being trying to mimic humanity. With Jenna Ortega's Wednesday, you get the feeling that smiling and the feeling of happiness that accompanies it comes naturally to her – but only when she's exercising her sadism.

The Addams family has always had such a clever and quirky sense of humor without needing to be vulgar. Thats why adults and kids both enjoyed it. We need more Addams family content for the new age. The animated movies were a great start and this is a great way to keep that momentum going.

I was a little apprehensive but this looks decent. As long as they keep the healthy internal family dynamics and don't mess it up. The best part of the Addams Family was how much they all loved each other and it was the rest of the world that was the problem. Writers have a tendency to go for character conflict between main characters rather than external so it will be interesting to see how they handle that.
