Hey! How about the preamp of the VE-8? does it give acoustic characteristics to the electric guitar ?? Does it sacrifice the electric guitar natural tone before entering the amp?? Does it offer true bypass or is the VE-8 a steady tone acoustic sounding preamp??

I'm using a boss ve8 as a sound card to record into Ableton but when I want to listen to the output I can't adjust the volume… what should I do?

Hi Deb,
Just picked up a VE -8 and studying your posts for guidance. I see you have line outputs configured on your pedal as well as XLRs, are these to your amplifier?
Also what outputs do you connect to your L1 Bose PA, direct from pedal or via the mixer?
I’m new so forgive my terminology 😂

Do you need to have a guitar hooked up for the harmony to sound good? I tried it just with the mic alone and it sounded terrible

Hi Deb, been watching your videos about boss ve-8 and plan to buy one for myself, your videos are very helpful, I have a question, I want to use my iphone 12 camera connecting it to the VE-8 using the usb cable, will the iphone12 capture the sound of the ve-8 going into the iphone 12 ? Thanks
