1 massive mistake in the video. Never take your drain plug off before removing your fill plug. This goes for all transmissions, gearbox, ect. If you can't remove the fill plug now you lost all the oil it had with no ability to refill until you're read to get deeply involved with it.

Otherwise great video. Thanks for the info. Looking to tell a buddy to do his vstar final drive. Mine is belt driven so no oil.

Why is it 1/2 the videos show the bike tilted on the kick stand and 1/2 show it either level on a stand or the hub level in a vise when they fill it. Which is the correct way. Dealers too show it tilted on the kick stand, and nobody mentions which is the right way. Can make a big difference how much more it takes.
