VLOOKUP is a function in Microsoft Excel that stands for "vertical lookup." It is used to search for a specific value in a column of data and return a corresponding value from the same row in a different column. The function takes four arguments:

Lookup Value: This is the value you want to find in the first column of your table.

Table Array: This is the range of cells that contains the data you want to search. The first column of the range should contain the lookup value, and the column you want to return the value from should be to the right of the lookup column.

Column Index Number: This is the number of the column within the table array that contains the value you want to return. The first column in the table array is column 1, the second column is column 2, and so on.

Range Lookup: This is an optional argument that can be either TRUE or FALSE. If set to TRUE (or omitted), the function will look for an approximate match to the lookup value. If set to FALSE, the function will only return an exact match
