Why did you replace the BCM? I'm having an issue with my truck and I'm wondering if it is similar.

My 08 sierra has its spells. It will come back ever month or two and stay a week. It won’t turn over and all my gauges drop and the radio turns off. All sorts of sensors go off on the dash and it tells me to service everything from the 4x4 to the air bag, to also telling me the hood or door is open when it’s not. Your opinion?
