Please test the 7950x3d with the non 3d CCU turned off so we can get an idea of what the 7800x3d can do. Sucks AMD purposely moved them back over a month. Also the 5800x3d could run faster. I had mine curve optimized to -30 all core, undervolted -0.045, and set at a 103.7 BLCK to run a 4.7Ghz with no issues.

Thread optimization on dual CCX X3D chips. How they work. My fear is that the dual CCX chips won't know what to do with themselves... Which could explain why AMD is launching the 7800X3D last...

Which could make the 5800X3D and 7800X3D the best performing chips.

Ok so… But as far as i now understand, the 7900X3D and the 7950X3D are Way better still overall for Gaming then because even if the Game doesnt use the V-Cache… and it would be even worse because of that, you could just change your Cores to use the other Cores that dont have the V-Cache and still get very good Performance as the normal CPUs. That sound cool.

I assume there will be some (maybe many even…) Games that dont take the best Cores every Time but the User should be able to change it that Programm… i already forgot again… where you can tell them what Cores the Game should use.

Its not perfect of corse and it should be automatically be working with the Whitelist but again… if that doesnt work a workaround might still be there i would assume.

23:38 This right there further is proof to what i mean. Or like not Prove but it indicates my Suspicion that the 5900 and 5950 X3D are even better suited for Gamers still. The Reason why they are showing different Games vs the 5800X3D and not the 13900K is because the 7800X3D cant use the same high Clocks as the 7900 7950 X3D Variants. He is stuck at 5GHZ and there will be Games (i guess its not that many but still…) where a 7700X would be better than a 7800X3D. And if you go with the 7900 7950 X3D you can just change the CCD where the Cores go max Frequency and get the same Performance as a none X3D Variant.

Seems logic to me. They save Money on it and still give you the more Frequency (which are at least better for Productivity and maybe also for some Games) and it is cheaper for the Consumer as well. Well… in Theorie at least…
