I contacted Pony Tools because I’m planning on doing a few videos on their pipe clamps and asked if they would be willing to send me some product for me to give a way to my viewers once I release the videos and their email response was this.

We regret to inform you that the company is permanently closed and out of business.

Not the best video but I wanted to share this information in case you really like their products.

I am 40 years old now and started buying Pony, Jorgensen and Adjustable clamps when i was 16 years old!

This would explain why my local hardware store doesn't carry them anymore. Such a shame. These are the only line of clamps that I use.

Amazon still has several pony vise's & clamps available. I bought a drill vise their. I really like their adjustable hand clamps too & some of those are still on amazon. I bet there might be some on ebay too.

Pony went back in operation in 2016, it is 2021 now and they are still in business.

Wow. I bought a Pony 29050 vise back in 2016 around April or May. The store I went to had an assortment of their vise's too. I was worried about the quality given it was such a good price. I haven't been disappointed & it has held up very well. What a shame.

Yes. Very sad. I just found out today about Pony shutting down and I live in Chicago where they had a factory. Luckily I picked up a few clamps from a seller. I made sure they were stamped "Made in USA". I hope more companies figure out how to make things here cheaper but with great quality. Problem I'm hearing on the streets is that Unions are causing companies to leave because of their high wages. I wonder how many people would stay on the job If they were told they would get a pay cut otherwise company might move to China. Thanks

Too bad they went out of business. I would like to purchase those adjustable stand offs to make my older clamps higher up off the workbench. Does anyone know if they can be purchased separately?
