This ain't no simple video, it's basically a documentary on the history of Jund. Terrific content, best Magic channel on youtube by far.

These deep dives into the history of deck archetypes are A+++ content! Along with the clash of World Champion deck series, this channel is posting bangers non-stop. Well worth the effort. Congratulations.

Carl, I thought we were talking about midrange decks and not aggro damage straight at my heart

As someone who has only started to get into limited formats after playing commander for about a year, this was an incredible video and the intro and discussion with Reid is really helping to jumpstart my interest in playing a format like Standard, Modern, Pioneer, or something similar. Thank you so much for all your hard work, and for the excellent content!!!

Hearing Carl narrate all of this is so surprisingly soothing. I was hooked on to the screen from the first word. I remembered playing jund, winning 2 tournaments and had to sell it off, as I was in a rough place back then. Such a fun time, thank you Carl!

As a Yu-Gi-Oh player who has recently gotten into Magic, this was super interesting and the video quality is insane!

This series has become one of my favorites in all of magic youtube. Great conntent and awesome guests.
I would love to see one on Death and Taxes or in the story of tempo decks (Delver, UB Faeries, Murktide, etc)

I only started playing Magic recently, but your storytelling gave me the hit of nostalgia anyways. Chills.

Holy smokes, this video is amazing! Interesting note: back in a days we never called The Rock deck by this name in our local community. This deck was always named by the name of it's creator - Malka. New players always asked why this deck has such a weird name!

Okay, this was the best video I watched in a long time and I really got sentimental. Bommer Jund was my pet deck in the 2013 Legacy-GP in Strasbourg and it got me really far. It was basically the shell you guys were talking about with Deathrite Shamans, Tarmogoyfs, Punishing Fire + Grove Combo, Liliana, Thoughtseize, Abrupt Decays and Dark Confidants. God, I loved this deck. I went 8:1 on day one, and sadly did misplay on day 2 and got the 33rd place. After the Deathrite ban the deck died and I sadly had to change. But deep down in my heart, this deck will always be one of my favorites. As you said, good honest matches. Thank you for this amazing video, please keep on going with this quality content.

There's a lot to love about this video, but I especially like the creative editing choices. Really hoping cardmarket makes more of these!
