Safariland is great but their model listing and product array and descriptions thereof, even with their holster finder, is downright inscrutable. What's this acronym mean and how is it distinguished from this other acronym? No idea! Where do I find out? Somewhere else! How do these models differ? Who can say!?

We want that exact model. You did a whole video and not answer the one simple question which was what is your exact model?

Love my Safariland. Have them for a couple different guns. I like the mid rise mount, added a leg retention strap to the bottom screw

Very happy with topic choice. Thank you! Requests for the sequel if it ever happens: low v. mid. high, pro/cons. Holster selection for pistols without manual safeties. Pros/cons of various locking mechs vs access speed. Finally - how do I compare kydex holster makers for my setup? It seems that by the time I specify my gun make/model, light and red dot maker I'm lucky to find one if any. It's easier to find a house online to buy than a holster. 🙂

Safariland has a long track record of being the preferred level 2-3 duty holster but US Duty Gear holsters has similar features but with more options to different firearms and camo cordura wrap options.

Part of why I am gravitating back towards Glock or Sig is because of the Safariland 6000 series. Unfortunately the 7000 series is IMP and I am less of a fan of that, I am sure Safariland has worked the kinks out though.

Good comments & advice.
I live in a rainforest, as a result, I would prefer a holster that covers the sidearm totally during rain.
However, when the rain stops I would like to be
able to remove the cover
in order to quickly access
my sidearm. 👍😊🇺🇸

I run the Nub Mods on mine. I like the QLS/ALS system for ease of changing pistols while still using the same belt.

It's good that you cover the holster, but from what I can see there is so much more to getting a rig and the holster is just one part of it. This is a topic that needs a fully run down and detail about why, what and where. I am now on my second round of purchases as there is not lots of detail on many manufacture sites.

It would be great to break down a whole system and why you use it. Belt, adapters, connectors, adjustments, use and pro's cons with durability.

6354do holster, best in the game. I got mine. And I got the 6370 as well for duty. Awesomeness at the waist side

What they should also advertise is how comfortable the safariland holsters are.

Im a LEO in Texas and l carry a Glock 17 gen5 with RMR and a TLR1 light for duty, my prefer holsters for duty are the 6354 DO and the 6390 RDS with the ALS system and low ride, my opinion they are the best models.

Safariland holsters are the only holsters I use, yes they are required by my agency but I have been using Safariland holsters for decades.

Mid ride or low ride depending on body protection, etc.

Been wanting to know what brands make tactical style holsters so thanks for this video. Question; are your mag holders also Safariland? When I look at the tac holsters and pouches, they don't really look like what you're using here (which is what I'm looking for).
