The fortress frozen valley chill fragment has been changed. They altered the spawn points so a Viessa cant one shot the groups anymore.

Viessa's polymer void shard farm in Fortress isn't one shottable anymore. They added more spawn points. Not that it was one shottable even before since even at maxed out range, you won't kill everything; you needed 2 Viessa's to cover the entire spawn point. They did the same with Lepic's fire void fragment farm; added more spawn points.

I get the design intent, but I'm curious if anyone is actually doing that pattern (clear outpost, void fragment, void reactor)?
I stocked up on void shards a while ago, now I mostly sustain them by clearing Defense missions to level Descendants and weapons. So my gameplay loop is to go no life one outpost until I get 5-10 of the amorphous material I want, then go spam the reactor until I get what I want. I feel this is more effective but more boring.
I think the issue is outposts. They should completely rework them. Into something else. Both the fact that you need to wait a whole minute to redo them AND that you must use Sharen to stealth them is...odd. So much of the game is farming outposts I don't understand why so little thought went into them. Either they planned to have more stealth heroes or they didn't plan to have so many amorphous patterns behind them... In any case, going invisible and pulling 3-4 switches is not compelling gameplay.

First time checking out your channel thanks for the updated data for the Void Shards!

I think viewers would appreciate some b-roll footage of actual gameplay of clearing the void shard reactors (or any b-roll footage in future videos) since they did change the spawn locations of some of them. Would make it a lot easier to imagine min/maxing clear speeds if we don't have the game open already. Also, adding timestamps for quick scrubbing would be a nice addition too

Bunny cave is also good for farming up rare cerulean mods to combine for Shot Focus. Just a side note.

So what’s the best location for all 4 fragments in general? I mean the ones that gives you x15 of each. Thanks

I get the feeling you had someone else test your Polymer shard grind in fortress because, it is most certainly not "like it was before the patch" 5:28. They ninja nerfed the frozen valley farm along with the lepic Dune base farm. Completely ruined them. And no, you can no longer one blizzard the Frozen valley. At the end of stage two a large group containing snipers spawn on the hill to the north way out of the first blizzards range. Stage three also contains heavies that take more to kill. My best time for Frozen valley post patch was around 56 sec. Defense line by contrast still spawns it two clumps allowing for faster clears, my best so far was 36 sec.

Are you clearing Frozen valley in like 9 seconds? With the 20 second timer delay between each you basically have to be clearing in 9 seconds every time to be getting the rates shown in the video.

Is the corrupted zone really better than dune base? I can do runs with Lepic for dune base in 30 seconds and if you have 2 Lepics it can be done in 20 seconds.
Edit: Reading comments it looks like there were a lot of changes to how they spawn. Looks like my own excel sheet and notes I made can be thrown out the window. Just checked dune base, wtf did they add spawns on the cliffs. Moonlight Lake can be done in under 40 seconds, so I think it's better than corrupted zone.

Can the corrupted zone be done solo ? I tried 2 lepic farms yesterday and idk how you Would do them solo and no where as fast as before.

Does anyone have sheet displaying clear times for solo or group clears? I've started adding times to the sheet I created, but not always using optimized builds. So could be better farms then the ones I currently end up running.
