What should you do when they jump their knight into e4 early, stopping you from doing that pawn push?

I realise in your other video you suggest Re1 after castling. Here you suggest Qe2. Both attack on the e file, but which is better? Which on should I stick to?

This opening is working well for me...beating 1500 elo level computer opponent. I move my pawn to e4, and it often does not take it, so I move the pawn forward to e5. This opens up my right side, and I can often checkmate, usually after a bishop or knight sacrifice.

That ... cxd4 variation seems to go into something like a QGD (orthodox) Exchange Variation with colours reversed. Which makes me wonder if Black might have a shot at a minority attack in some situations.

What if Black plays Ne7 protecting the other Nc6 Knight instead of Nf6?

I really LOVE this opening, but I notice things break down somewhat when black's bishop moves to D-4 and then when threatened by the pawn, it takes the knight. If I take the bishop with my pawn, it opens up a clear lane for my castled king to be threatened and if I take it with the queen, the pawn advance to E-4 takes my bishop. I've played these options out in various permutations but I wonder what the best option is once my knight is taken?

As a beginner I played London but my bishop was always attacked so I came up with "my own" opening. Didn't know it had a name.
