Growing up in the 60's - 70's, nothing beat the taste of an ice cold RC Cola in the tall, slim, 16 oz glass bottle.

This immediately made me think of that episode of All In The Family where Mike was able to identify Coke, Pepsi and RC cola by tasting them blindfolded. His fave was Royal Crown. Im a longtime diet Pepsi devotee but I don't think there's a more perfect tasting soft drink on the planet than Coca Cola. I grew up on the glass bottles too and those were definitely the best days. I usually got RC Cola because it was sweeter and cheaper than Coke. But I remember that RC was harder to find because the stores didn't get the numbers that Pepsi and Coke shipped.

RC out of a really good tap/fountain back in the day was possibly the best cola you could get. Way different than the bottle/can.

This is tough. Truly depends on my day on which I like better. All good for sure like you said. Why does pop(not soda) burn more outta the bottle? I prefer the tap like you had mentioned better. Glass bottles are slick too if you can find them.
