Great job challenging the manufacturers testing. Hopefully pushes the competition into overdrive to improve

You guys are awesome! Even if I wish Milwaukee won. I’m here for competition and see Milwaukee RESPOND. Let’s see some innovative changes!

Flex preformed very well good on them this will only push others to do better but for now I’ll stick with my super sawzall! Thanks Vince

My 12 volt tools are Milwaukee and my 18 volt, “20 volt, ” tools have been dewalt. Lots of my Dewalt tools have failed and recently had quite a few tools stolen. Needed a grinder recently to get a multi groove sheave off a motor shaft and grabbed the flex due to cost. The thing really is a beast. Was gonna replace all the Dewalt to Milwaukee but gonna go flex now.

I am a trailer mechanic, I have the flex grinder, 1/2 impact, drill, and impact drill. They are tough as nails, hold up to the abuse rather well, and saved me a lot VS Dewalt or Milwaukee. Seem to make solid tools 🛠️

Flex just keeps flexing on the competition. 💪😎

I purchased the Flex saw last year after my Plug in Milwaukee died after 20 years of heavy use. I decided to go battery powered and wow this Flex is way stronger than I thought it would be and using it allot every day the vibration dampening is a God Send.

Interesting results. I thought of one possible thing to try as well. Project farm did a test with a Dewalt recip saw and found the better batteries were actually giving him cutting problems due to the blade actually moving too quickly to be efficient. See if possibly different results arise using the 12.0 on the Fuel? Or maybe the 5.0 on the Super Sawzall? Would be interesting extra data. Great video though as usual!

If I were starting to build up my tools. I would definitely go flex same power or more for less cash. Since all my cordless tools are Milwaukee I will stick with them

Im in team yellow now but ill probably go team grey in a few years just waiting for the arsenal to get bigger with flex. they proven that they can make a high quality tool and in most cases out powering its competition's tools! Bravo Flex keep going up i want more tools!

Excellent Job as always VCG👍👍👍 Just goes to show everyone that many quality tool brands can make great tools that can get work done, and no one brand is the best at everything even if they are one of the top dog tool brands. And more importantly that VCG is always on the Up and Up when it comes to rating and reviewing tools! The best of the best when it comes to all quality tools is the best in the function, reliability, and price value equation imo. But all quality tools must meet a minimum standard in that equation or imo they aren't worth using, at least proffessionally. Luckily the big dog tool brands usually always manufacture a quality tool even if they don't offer the best tool in every category.

Nobody likes to see their team lose. (Myself included.) Everyone relax. It’ll all be OK.
With that said, I think it’s time to acknowledge that the new kid on the block is doing some things right. At the very minimum, they get credit in my book for studying the competition, identifying their weaknesses or at least where they had room for improvement, and incorporating innovations that address those areas.
Fuel Sawzall is powerful, but has a lot of vibration? Ours will reduce vibration AND include orbital action as a standard feature.
Like your Packout, but wish you didn’t have to hunt down someone in the 3rd party aftermarket Mod community? We’ll offer those options in-house, and include cross compatibility with our bit and blade boxes, so that we can keep you in the entire ecosystem.
I’m mostly mad that they’re doing so well at showing team red how to do it just a little bit better. (Not for everything, clearly….but, I don’t know….gas struts in the lids and bit box holders built right in?!?)
Kind of beating Milwaukee at their own game, in some respects.
It’s OK, though. We can still all agree that their name and marketing promos sounds a little like a bad reboot of American Gladiator and that their rolling Flex Snack Pack sounds more like a lunch pudding than an awesome storage solution.
Relax. We all win.

@VCG Construction. Thanks Vince for making this video and helping to keep us informed about tool claims.

The Flex recip saw is good for those who use a recip saw alot. I'm already in Makita, Dewalt, Milwaukee, and Ridgid battery platforms. I don't see adding Flex in my tool crib at this time.

Keeping you and your family in my daily prayers.
Merry Christmas.

P.S. I'll have to remember I can use my recip saw to mix my next powdered drink 🙂

Sorry but I don't need my saw to be as smooth as butter. Flex had a smooth tool congratulations, never thought about my Milwaukee smoothness while I'm on the job cutting. It cut, and quick. That's what I needed it to do🤷🏾‍♂️

I’m already sold on flex. Been using two power tools over the weekend and ordered a 3rd. Now I’d rather stick to the same battery system. So Flex it is.
