Is Taking 'Smart Drugs' Cheating? - Newsy

The argument that these drugs are an unfair supplement to those who take them doesn't universally apply to other stimulants and is therefore invalid, then I suppose drinking coffee as a stimulant before class to improve alertness and focus is also cheating?

Its not on a level playing field because not everyone can afford it and some more than others. Sanctioning the use of any new drug that has not been tested is just foolish.

I am taking some of them and i noticed only positives so far, even long turn. Taking Citicoline and Noopept. Sometimes when lack sleep Adrafinil and Caffeine with L-Theanine.

people who take smart drugs like adderall take it to keep up with the majority of people, not to get an advantage. obviously it seems like people who are perscribed are getting a head start but that's only because people are reading what the drug does not who it's supposed to really help.

it's completely irrelevant what peoples opinions are... People are going to do what they want no matter what because not your body not your business, that is if we're going to propose that individualism is a fact and that freedom is important to our country...

not all brains function the same and not all brains are capable of the unnatural state of existence that curriculum demands... Why by denying the ability to change their biochemical state is harming their ability to participate in society.

we have been taking drugs for the entire time we've been Forrester gatherers... Changing our biochemical state is the natural state of existence.

There isn't really a strong against argument for smart drugs. If I pay for private tuition on top of my schooling that would give me an advantage, if I study 3 times more than the average student I have an advantage. Smart drugs are no different to any other form supplement or things like coffee or caffeine & b vitamins. Finally for the bit towards the end isn't increased competition what drives capitalism ?
