The storytelling is unmatched. I miss Mac. "When did life get so serious." Beat is insane and the kids in the background is so nostalgic it's scary, because it sounds so familiar. As if it was from my own childhood.

This is the track that stood out to me, off the whole album.

“When did life get so serious, what ever happened to apple juice and cartwheels”
The end of this track took me somewhere man, like back when I was little kid in my nan and pops house drinking apple juice and playing games and toys from my toy box in my room.

I’m currently going through my life right now with the same feelings. I hadn’t been hit with such a nostalgic saddened/hurt/warm feeling in my chest from a music track like this in a longggg time.

Thanks mac, miss you heaps man.

This whole album creates a nostalgic resonation that is very familiar yet completely unknown. Its a feature very few artists can deliver in my opinion. So many of us have our own personal memories with Mac Miller songs as the anthem. I feel like i speak for the masses when i say "we are so grateful for this man and his willingness to give us his life, love, struggles, and his anecdotes, all in his melody".

I heard this track when it leaked like 4 years ago. Its easily one of my favorite mac tracks of all time. It paints this picture of nostalgic tranquility while having a sense of uneasiness to it. Hard to imagine what mindstate you have to be in to create a piece like this. Truly a one of a kind artist. My goat

This is the one. When did life get so serious? I remember playing in the yard with friends & imaginary friends alike. I wanted to be a hero. To discover new things the world didn't know about. To be able to protect anyone from the bullies. And to go back inside afterwards with some juice and video games.
Man I miss those days.

Reminds me of Blue Slide Park, especially with the kids talking in the background with the beat. RIP Mac 🕊

This is album is so fuckin' trippy man, it's something else, coming-of-age, existential questions, and more, on jazzy super chill beats, this will certainly go down as my fourth ever fav.

The beat and vibe switch with the kids in the background was insane. Brought back a vibe I haven’t felt in a long time.

I’ve heard testimonies of life after death experiences from people who were depressed the majority of their life, who were randomly brought to a beautiful horizon, birds chirping, nature, field full of flowers, almost described as Eden from the bible. Those people that experienced that said that they felt so euphoric that they didn’t want to go back. For some reason, this song reminded me of that
