Engr for clarification if the components of of resultant force is not oriented properly in the X and Y catersian coordinate you use parallelogram law esp. if they are just two forces acting on it if you are going to solve for resultant. If determining two forces or Resultant of the two forces and the X, Y was properly oriented in the cartesian coordinate you can use Scalar notation(analytical solution) Tama ba? hope you understand what I mean
