We don’t give enough credit to this movie for brilliantly portraying the turmoil of grief when you’re socialised to not feel it.

Talaash is a masterpiece. Indian audience didn't understand the value of this movie at the time release. But many people have realized it now that it's a fantastic movie. Terrific performances by Aamir & Co.

I think this the first time Jaby has got someone more intelligent than him 😅....( Except Achara of course 😄 )...❤

The way Kareena has acted in this movie, was so interesting, a certain mix of enigma, emotionally driven, yet sexy.. not just Zoya and Reema has written her character with such poise n respect but also have directed it with equal panache. Want to see more of their collaboration.

Everyone is praising Kareena. But even Rani left such a deep impact with such a limited screen time. Her sad eyes did the talking and Roshni stayed with me after finishing the movie. Kareena was brilliant too no doubt.

The lady who plays the medium is Shehnaz Patel. She has played the role of Rani's mother in the movie black and is marvelous, one of the best performances in Indian cinema. Hope she gets more work and recognition

The person selecting the movies for reaction deserves a raise

Also, the movie is based on Zoya Akhtar's real life incident. A similar incident took place with Zoya Akhtar at midnight in Haji Ali road. She was accompanied with 4-5 friends

Sad that I didn’t get to see this in the theatres but I remember someone giving out spoilers because they weren’t happy with it. Then, I saw it on TV a few months later and I loved it. Criminally underrated in my opinion.

The costume storytelling in this movie is amazing. It’s very grounded and grunge yet it makes an impact.

Lil known fact : the car jump scene was not done in Mumbai, it's a busy place so they shot the scene in 'Pondichery' and the drowning scenes too

Those who love this movie for them it definitely holds a special place in their heart n mind. I watched it in a less than half packed theatre & I chose to sit in middle seat with no one sitting in the entire row just to feel my surrounding with the dark n creepy vibe the movie was providing. And let me tell you when the suspense revealed in the end with that enhanced loud background score (the only time bgm got loud), My kurkure packet literally fell down from my hands, was just shocked n scared at the same time(meri literally 5/10 seconds k liye fat gayi thi) as I didn’t see that coming. The movie created that atmosphere around your headspace pretty convincingly & it’s bgm by Ram Sampath is one of the primary reasons of this. I think the background score doesn’t get that attention it deserves. One of the finest bgm score in a movie. Not loud, very little here n there & yet convincingly puts the impact of what’s going on the scene. The whole movie didn’t get the attention then which it deserved n so does even now despite being an Aamir Khan Starrer. 💔

The subtitles are correct. 😂
Even-tough you are right that “Bas” means “Enough” in English but it also means “That’s it”.
I know its confusing but the word “Bas” has different meanings attached to it when said in different emotions.
When said in anger it means “Enough”.
Whereas when asked as a question it means “That’s it.”

Actually the word 'Bas' can be used as a that's it as well. It all depends on the ton. If you say 'bas' it means stop or enough. If it's used as a question, like 'bas?' then that would very well be meant us ' that's it?'

the best twist or climax of any thriller movie i have watched so far. I didn't expect the end at all. Everyone were shocked in the theatre.

I find myself extremely lucky to have seen this film in theatre. Me and my friends preparing for IIT have seen this in an old theatre in Hyderabad. It was the best experience with respect to movies I ever had. Top notch acting, brilliant screenplay, superhit songs, background music, interaction with supernatural, sound design, everything was just too good. It was a very thrilling and satisfying experience. My favourite scene in the movie is the interaction between Aamir and Kareena in the hotel room where he says that he is tired. Also, I love every artist of this movie and have been following their work regularly. Wish such movies are regularly made. ♥♥♥♥♥
