I don't understand why I didn't subscribe to you until this very moment, even though I've been watching your extraordinarily valuable videos for a while. My apologies Jared. Much love from Romania !!!

Great video. I'd add that if you focus, and then recompose, subject movement and/or YOUR movement can push the subject out of focus. And that includes pivoting.

Thanks. I was really struggling with this.

Dumb question: Would it be better to use AF-C instead of single AF on static subjects if I focus and recompose to prevent any out of focus images?

Thanks for sharing and for not taking all day to get to the point.

I signed up for the 11 days of videos 3 times and not received anything so far. Wondering if I am doing something wrong in the sign up process?

I really enjoy it when you make these type of videos. Although it great to watch RawTalk etc its nice to just learn the basics. This is how I found your channel in the first place. I hope you can continue to make more of these videos :)

Thanks for another great video Jared! Could you make a one similar to this on the different metering modes? I'm shooting semi-auto and getting more and more comfortable with shooting manual; under and overexposing as I see fit to make the shot but different metering modes are still something to get my head around...
