Aggrieved aspirant wants ODM elections board to award certificates after listening to petitions

An aggrieved aspirant for Sidindi Ward in Ugunja constituency Mr Jerry Ochieng, has appealed to the ODM National Elections Board not to award any candidate whose victory is being contested the nomination certificate.
Mr. Ochieng has also called on the Election Board to fast track the process of listening to the petitions filed by aspirants who feel short- changed and help end the building tension amongst the aspirants supporters.
He said that the party should be sensitive enough to award genuine winners with the nomination certificate, and anyone whose victory has been petitioned should not receive the certificate until the case is fully heard to its conclusion.
