What I love about this point is that Serena beat Hingis with all finesse - the short angle backhand, the lob, the drop volley. Hingis once said about Serena, "Playing (Serena) it always felt like playing a steamroller. No subtlety, no finesse, just raw, loud power." Hingis just couldn't cope with the fact Serena would go on to be a better player in every way (except maybe I'd give the nod to Hingis in volleys). Hingis probably did cocaine to cope with her tennis not living up to her ego after she peaked.

I've seen a few points where Sharapova was hitting so hard, sending Serena all over the court with what would usually be winners against anyone else. Yet serena always won the point, no matter how much she had to move.

Great play from both in this point. I do feel Hingis’ passing shot is aimed well but not hit with enough pace but you can see she was quite winded from the strenuous point.

There’s three points maybe four that stick out to me. Two are from 2005 AO semifinal against sharapova, one from 2009 AO against kuznetsova, and one from the semifinal against Dementieva in Wimbledon 2009(I think). These points were climatic and she was elevating her level higher as the matches went on. Two bonus points would be against Venus in their 2009 USO match(but serena lost that point) & wta finals against Wozniaki (I think 2013 or 2014)
