Finding The Best Gelato In Italy!

(they both let you get chocolate in the bottom of the cone!!)

Florence: Gelateria La Carraia is a top pick, but Perche No! was my favorite. Gelateria die Neri was also good.

Gelateria Dondoli in San Gimignano, close to Florence!!! The gelato used to be shipped to the UK to the queen. It has a bunch of unique award winning flavours (also named gelato world champion multiple times) and it uses selected local ingredients. It's literally heaven (and this is coming from a certified italian who is a gelato fanatic)!!!

Edit: some unique and renowned flavours are champelmo (pink grapefruit and local champagne sparkling wine), cream with san gimignano saffron and pine nuts, Rosemary Baby (rosemary and raspberry), Venere Nera (blackberry and lavender) and probably the best chocolate gelato you can find in the Amedei chocolate, which was named best chocolate in the world from 2005 to 2009.
These are just some flavours out of the endless selection!!! You'd be stunned I can promise you!!!!

I know you guys like ice cream but if you ever go back Tennessee you should go to the “Legendairy milkshake bar” it is so good and filled with crazy flavors of milkshakes it is in Nashvilles. It is one of the best milkshake places ever and all of the flavors are You should really try it!!

Try Frigidarium in Rome! Their yogurt flavor sent me to another planet

Edit: if you go to rome, you HAVE to try Bonci’s Pizzarium. You have to get there early but it’s AMAZING 🍕

if you go to sardinia i really recommend Mille Meraviglie!! it’s in Costa Rei and possibly one of the best ice creams i’ve ever had, although i might just be biased because it’s my childhood place

I once went to Gelateria Biraghi in Turin in North Italy. Best ice cream i've ever tasted.

go to il gelato in orvieto, near the duomo. not only are the flavors AMAZING, the town itself is so beautiful! my favorite town in italy

If you go to Italy go to “Piazza Santa Monica, Sulmona, Province of L'Aquila” it’s a really good restaurant and my aunt went to school with the owner. I has one Michelin star but through over the years and it has a bunch of rewards for it being a really good restaurant and it’s really good and then there is also a really good gelato place right next to it or close to it. I couldn’t find it on Google maps, but if I can, I can reply to this and I’ll find it and I’ll put the address on it.

If you go to Venice there is a place called Gelateria Gallonetto it’s super cheap and it’s the best ice cream in Europe!

I know you probably won’t see this but there is store in rome called Frigidarium is by piazza navona my family that live in Rome and I both tried it and we believe it is the best gelato in the capital
