Which Roman Gelato will you try First?

10 years ago, as I was visiting a small town in Spain, there was a Spanish-Italian place selling Gelato. The best cold thing I had ever tasted in my life ! And since I would go there once a day, I recall my two favourite flavours were Mojito and Berries. Thank you Vincenzo and your team for reminding me of those sweet memories. ❤

One thing about gelato in Italy :
It's rare to ever buy bad gelato, no matter where you go. The worst gelato in Italy is similar to average ice cream everywhere else. Almost every gelato you'll ever buy in Italy is much better than the best of most other countries, there really is no comparison.

I'll give a shout-out to 'Voglia di gelato' in Domodossola (Piemonte), one of the best I've ever come across!

On a recent visit to Sicily (Trapani to be precise), there was always a big queue for a certain gelateria. I asked a local friend if it was really that good, and which was the best one in town. She said that there were all good ones because a bad one would go out of business very quickly. I would say that is true for most of Italy, outside of the tourist traps.

I lived in Viterbo one time, Don Vincenzo, and this one gelateria by the central shopping area had a *triple Nutella* that was to die for! Another gelateria near a church had this *gelato shake* with extra gelato and Nutella, with a biscuit…amazing!!!

Too bad I didn’t spend much time in Roma. But you are very correct: gelato italiano, il maggiore!!
