Sure, the Death Note movie was pretty bad, but Willem Dafoe as Ryuk was amazing casting and is the only good part of that movie.

Live action just hasnt lived up to the standards we as anime fans have. If you are saying its a live action than make it the version best suited not cheapest or whatever suits you.

in one case i could not disagree with you more.... ALITA was FANTASTIC!!! and i got no uncanny ally vibes off the show at all... it was an amazing triumph and i pray they get a sequel !!!!

Edge of Tomorrow was a really good adaptation of the manga "All You Need Is Kill" and I enjoyed it.

What's a shame is the random attack on Alita because its a great movie even the mangaka likes it

Don't forget, isayama partially wrote the script for AOT live action, because he rejected directors request to follow the manga.

Critisizing Alita's apperance by being "too faithful" to the anime/manga and putting it at 7 is one thing, but Netflix Cowboy Bebop changing the entire characterization of Julia and putting it at only 10 is ok. 🤦‍♂️
