What is the worst heel turn in WWE history?

Edge's heel turn in 2022 was also bad for 2 reasons:
1. It didn't have the same magic when he was a heel from 2005-2010
2. Nobody wanted to boo Edge after he came back 9 years after his neck injury

Hearing Michael Cole's commentary run as a heel in 2011 was painful. I am glad that he is now in one of his best form on commentary & getting the respect that he deserves.

Michael Cole earned my Respect from how he handled the Lawler incident. always keeping us informed. that man Deserves to be in the Hall of Fame

That Daniel Bryan turn shouldn't even count because it wasn't a legitimate heel turn. It was a set up to make the Wyatt Family let their guard down. I thought that was made pretty clear.

Dean Ambrose heel turn & segments with Nia Jax is probably what led to him leaving. If that was his reason, I wouldn't blame him at all.

Becky Lynch's heel turns in 2018 and 2021 get an honorable mention from me due to the fact that nobody wanted to boo The Man. In fact, when Becky attacked Charlotte at Summerslam 2018, fans cheered although it could be because fans were sick and tired of seeing Charlotte win all the time. Granted, we got The Man and later Big Time Becks but still.
Also, you can add Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits.

Dean’s heel turn was so bad that it made him quit the company. He was already pretty unhappy with WWE but this was his breaking point.

7:32 this is the most emotion he has ever expressed in a video, love to see it!

Vince turning Austin heel was just an attempt to outdo Hogan turning heel in WCW which backfired because Austin wasn’t meant to be a heel again and they were turning him into a clown with the alliance

Big Show turned heel a lot and the common reason is he didn't want to get fired (one by John Lauranitits in 2012, and another by Triple H in 2014)

When it was Dean Ambrose heel turn someone’s poster said Seth freaking Rollins. They predicted the future.

I don't think Eugene was a bad character. I think that if they KEPT HIM AS A FACE, didn't have himself or the faces make fun of him (only the heels), and then make PSAs to support mental health awareness, it could've become a positive. Even better is if they could find an Autistic wrestler, develop him, and use him as Eugene.

A heel Jeff Hardy would have worked in WWe if Jeff Hardy only refused to do all his high-risk signature moves, taunt the crowd everytime with it just to lay low and do a generic move instead. And if he would have won a title I can imagine a Twist of Fate with the belt around the opponent's neck or something like that, there are many tiny things you can do to a guy to make him more entertaining as a heel, I feel like Dom Mysterio is the best example.

Although Austin babyface run is better than his heel run, Austin heel run had its memorable moments and great matches as a heel, in my opinion I wouldn’t put him on top 10 WORST heel turns, especially because his heel turn At Wrestlemania was epic.

Dean Ambrose 2018 heel turn was a complete flop. Even him and Seth Rollins didn't make up for it at their match at TLC 2018. No wonder he left in 2019.

The pops for Bryan at the end of that cage match were insane.
