The worrying aspect about a convoy that is know about to the point of being on news outlets is the lack of air support to take it out.
I'm no military strategist, but surely a one road convoy is a sitting duck to air attack from drones and jet bombers?

Alot of people don't understand that this isn't a full-scale war yet. Russia has not committed all its forces, and isn't indiscriminately destroying buildings and infrastructure. Phone lines and internet remain operating. We can only hope it remains this way.

The convoy we are being told is that much longer each day; a few days ago it was 5 miles long. The more mouths to feed and vehicles to maintain the more need for supplies: expect the convoy to get longer in the coming days.

Call. me old fashioned but a 40 mile long convoy of military vehicles may be a force to be reckoned with when it stops and deploys but before then it is what is known in military parlance as a sitting duck.

The tweet read out said it was a ‘step that Putin’s inner circle had anticipated’ and NOT that it was a ‘step Putin’s inner circle hadn’t anticipated’.So this report is inaccurate, at least in this one area.

Not sure Diesel tanks run on petrol unless of course they are very low compression engines, and can run on a mixture and are deemed multi fuel .
