This should be interesting. Imo, probably not as timbrely rich as the Apex, nor the impact, but MSB should be very clean sounding. Has a one Farad power supply tho. Could be interesting.

Having heard MSB amplification several times I’ve been decidedly unimpressed. My only lasting impression has been “clean” sounding, but lacking an enjoyment factor.

Much, much more impressed with their DAC’s 😉.

You really need the M500 monoblocks + bi-wiring --- that will blow the S500 out of the water

You won’t get the full measure of this amplifier without driving it directly from an MSB DAC, preferably a Reference or Select.
