Lesser Kestrels live near people. They are our neighbours and allies who are trying to survive in an ever-changing world. Greece’s biggest colony of “Kirkineka” (the name locals give to the Lesser Kestrel) is in Thessaly. This is where the LIFE project for the Lesser Kestrel is being delivered – to ensure that this symbiosis between bird and man has a future.
