Delighted to share this beautiful blend of Carnatic music and Kathakali padam at ‘Karuna’ music concert organised by Kochi Music Foundation. Kochi Music Foundation (KMF) is a platform that will exclusively focus on acknowledging, nurturing and creating independent music and placing our art at a global arena.

While Sreevalsan J Menon, and Jaison J Nair two eminent scholars and well known music composers, elaborates the beauty of Thodi raga through Thaye Yasoda, Meera Rammohan elaborates its bhava through 'Poothamokshan Aattakkatha' which is a play back for Kathakali, a traditional art form of Kerala. 'Thaye Yasoda' is a well celebrated Carnatic musical composition by Uthukkad Venkata Subbayyar in Tamil. 'Poothamokshan Aattakkatha' is a famous Kathakali composition by Ashwathi Thirunal Maharaja.
