Uryu does deserve to be here. His scrift is the only one that can rival the almighty. He got beat by jugram coz jugram used the almighty to see all his attacks so none of his attacks on jugram jugram were effective until he used the antithesis which was clearly not part of the future jugram saw. Jugram was lucky that uryu hadn't used it earlier and it was morning already so jugo had gotten his balance just early enough to counter uryu. Otherwise it would have been☠☠ for jugram. Let's take note that uryu had just gotten his scrift and he has limitless potential with it and in the novel uryu had mastered volstandig which could tentatively mean he has mastered his scrift too.
