I didn't know there was a 1/35 figure of Andy available and it looks so realistic standing next to all of those models :-)

Now this is funny! I'm German and I'm watching a video on an American channel on our own German Tank Museum! Since I haven't been there yet I'm really grateful you uploaded this! :)

What great timing! I have a Panzer IV on my hobby table right now. Just finished Andy's famous "shadow black" coat.
I'm so glad you were able to visit that museum and even receive the VIP treatment! I'm sure that was on your bucket list for awhile!

I blew like 300 Euro in that gift shop. That poor woman didn't see it coming. lol. That museum is 10000% worth going to.

Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, 4th Movement. Superb! And to think he wrote it when he was almost entirely deaf. Pure genius.

16:26 Fun Fact - The Tiger I is indeed a Model, obviously original Size and not 1/35, but it is a Model or Replica if you prefer to call it so.
Another Fun Fact: Many Tanks are still working, look for the "Stahl auf der Heide" Event Videos here on YT!!

Great reference video Andy. I visited there in September. Then I visited your store in December and talked to you about it. One thing I discovered was that some of the tanks have been restored incorrectly. Mind you they are very slight differences, eg. the front inside track fenders of the King Tiger should be about 3/4" steel. The fenders on the side are very thin but not those front ones. The cable ends were normally painted black on the aluminium collars. My advice is to always compare the old photos with these museum pieces. Thanks for posting.

I visited that place as a teenager in the 90’s. Really liked that place. I remember standing in front if the King Tiger in disbelieve how huge that thing was. Good ole’

Went to 1 of those war musems in England in the 90s where they had a panzer3 on display. Took a peek in the tank and was surprised how cramp it was inside and made me wonder how they fit so many crew members into such small spaces.

The Tank Museum should get you to do a top 5 tanks. You would be in heaven at Bovington. Granted, this museum is also fantastic.

The Tiger 1 is actually a giant plastic model.. the ultimate kit.
The "orriginal" was made up from parts collected from scrapyards and firing range wrecks across Europe. It's why the tank represents all stages of the Tiger's development in a single model.
What's on display now is a "casting" - taken from the orriginal that they were forced to sell. So it really is a giant full scale plastic kit that was made using the orriginal as a mould!!!!
