I do this. It helps but the beef begins when you HAVE to use thinner lines, or the angle is different, or if it's further away.

There are artists who use thin lines and they make their drawing pop out perfectly. If you want an style that focus in your linework then maybe a style with a variation in line weight will be good. And yes, line weight isn't the name of a style, it's a property of the line, please, learn yourself before teaching others.
