The problem is that it can be confusing to figure out how to apply line weight to your drawing if you don’t know what you want to communicate. In this lesson, we’ll go over the hierarchy of line weight you’ll want to think about when you’re drawing. All these methods we’ll cover are just tools that you can mix and match to fit your taste.

Use of line weight on the anime Demon Slayer is super interesting. I'd love to see a breakdown on how it's used there

I study architecture and I wonder why none of our teachers actually pointed this out. Its such a good technique to highlight shapes in your concept or just make plans easier to read

This channel is amazing at simplifying hard to understand concepts that others tend to struggle understanding. Thank you so much for all your work! You’ve been helping me and many others with their art journey! Keep it up!!

I’ve always wanted to add more depth and show more form in my lines as they look too flat. Glad I found this tutorial!

I was wondering about this topic, and gladly this video popped out in my feed, it's really informative and it gave me technical reasons of why this lineart style even exists in the first place, I thought it was just some cool thing artist do to be quirky. Thanks a bunch!!

Thank you so much for this video! I've tried to find out why specific artists use which ones for what reason for years but never really found a clear answer, just contradicting fragments of info. That made it harder for me to find out how to do it "right" in my own artwork. Finally getting that explanation about the different techniques and especially when to use which was exactly the info I needed!

I have finally found a video that clearly and simply explains the basics of line quality.

Years later, I still frequent this track! The intensity and melody is fantastic.

I can admire the original for its triumphant nature in that the dragons are recognizing you as a symbol, but this just sounds sooo much better even with the context. Nothing jubilant here, just a pair of dragons with powers considered distrastous to the planet, yet are humble enough to maintain peace.

A flaw with YouTube, I can only 'Like' this Video once. Just one like cannot possibly communicate how easy and useful this video is. Thank you, Stan!
