By Andrew's logic, is he only able to do anything because a bigger, stronger man is allowing him to?

These dudes think Stoicism is something all men practice, when in reality most men just bottle their emotions up till it stops their heart

If every woman was like Malek then we would absolutely need the patriarchy.

Malek could be removed from this conversation and nothing would be lost.

Bit off-topic, but Destiny is ENTIRELY right about the reality of men who work blue-collar jobs. I used to work as a kitchen porter, everyone slacked-off every chance they got because it's horrible fucking work and no-one would ever do it if they had any other choice. I know for my purposes I'd always try and call shotgun on taking the bins out, because there'd usually be a beat-up chair in the bin yard where you could have a crafty sit-down and a smoke for five minutes, you took extra minutes of break wherever you could get them.
This alt-right manosphere fantasy of stoic manly-men manual-labourers in their Little Dark-Age compilations is something you can only believe if you're a pasty, limp-wristed NEET and you've never actually done any real work in your life.

No matter how big and strong a man you are, a bullet can still kill you. And last I checked, a woman is perfectly capable of aiming a gun and pulling the trigger.

What I find so ironic about Andrew's position is that he pretends that technology doesn't _drastically_ shift the power differential between genders. It won't matter how much physically stronger a tactical force is if they're up against a far more advanced coordination of logistics, cybersecurity, arms, etc.

Destiny is at it's best when the other person says something factually wrong, always puts a smile on my face remembering Lav saying a lie doesn't need intent

I ran the office of an autobody shop as the only woman employee for about five years. The guys were so kind to me, so if feels weird complaining, but they did treat me like a delicate infant at times. So, I LOVED working in the shop prepping cars for paint- taping, sanding, buffing, etc... But they would only want me doing it if it weren't too cold, weren't too hot, if we weren't too busy, but the perfect amount of busy that they needed help- like if someone called in or something. The thing was EVERY time i prepped a car, they went over the top with praise- like that it was so surprising even if it were the twentieth time- "Ms. Mila is coming for your job" type shit. It wasn't that they just didnt like me out there. I'd come hang out and watch all the time, (thats how i learned). We were friends, they threw me a party, and one of the painters even cried on my last day. Lol I don't want anyone to dismiss my story with "they just didn't want you out there." It stuck out to me because they were trying to be nice and complimentary, but it felt shitty because they were shocked every time. Like, they expected me to do a bad job, but how didn't they know I was good at prep when they've said the same things over and over?

I just wonder if it was some sort of denial - that men HAVE to think women can't do things they do and if it has ALWAYS been this way, how much does it impact the way our workforce looks today? I'm curious if any other women have stories like this? Men?

Andrew arguing that women are genetically bad at using a glock is ridiculous, as if it’s so physically demanding

36:59 As a blue collar worker my entire life, I am confident in saying about 10% of the workers do 80 to 90% of the work. The other 90% milk the clock sunup to sundown.

39:05 Even my dad, who's been in construction or other related fields of work all his life, told me the best thing I can do is find work that uses my mind rather than my body. He's in his 60s now with daily body pain and is now a Job Manager at a big construction company that builds million dollar houses. Now instead of having to break his back, for the most part he gets to tell other people how they should be breaking their back.

Andrew labours every debate. It's circular back and fourths that repeat themselves time after time. Tedious af.

It's hilarious that Andrew and Sartain's rhetoric sounds good with no pushback, but as soon as someone hits them with common sense realities, they start to fall apart and have to defend insane hypothetical scenarios to keep from exposing the ignorance of their views. The pick me is even worse, she can't get through a couple sentences without someone completely shutting her down and leaving her unable to defend her statements.

Andrew is coping so hard, in my opinion. He amplifies the same thing he's complaining about, ie: man need to be stoic and express no emotion, then to say not expressing emotion makes men suicidal AND they do it better.

His grip to life style he has never lived in(the past) and refusal to understand society has evolutionaly progressed, but men as a whole has lagged behind in advancing with it because of what he upholds (but wait, they're still better at this too) is mind blowing.
