I added cream cheese to the base and little lemon juice to the blueberries. So mine was a blueberry cheesecake ice cream. So good!!!😊😊😊

To cut down on the ice crystals that may form, I'd recommend adding 1 or 2 Tbsp of vodka to the mix. You can't taste it, but the alcohol prevents ice crystals from forming, keeping the ice cream creamy.

Frozen blueberries in a blender with sugar and heavy cream = the best ice cream ever. I grew up with several blueberry bushes and ate this all season as a child.

You can also simply combine mixed blueberries with water to get a perfect and slowly-cooldown ice cream. When you combine ½ mixed blueberries with ½ sugar, you make jam, and by adding any milky product to it, you get a sorbet
